White Lights
Who says July can’t twinkle like December does? White lights are acceptable all year long in our book. Even nature likes to be part of the celebration every once in a while.
Intense Sparkle
Any fashionista will tell you, a little sparkle never hurt anyone. We’re particularly fond of the risk this bride took by outfitting her bridesmaids in full-length, shimmery gold dresses. This look could translate seamlessly into any winter wedding.
Faux Fur
Okay, we’ll admit it…faux fur in the summer isn’t entirely practical. However, it is FABULOUS. Even J. Crew is doing it! Plus, if those Real Housewives of Orange County have taught us anything, it’s that fur on a cool summer night is totally acceptable.
Hanging Ornaments
If it were up to us, ornaments would be popular for much longer than just the month of December. Needless to say, we adore this idea of creating a suspended focal piece out of classic tree ornaments.
Candles
Candles instantly make any setting more glamorous. Bring out your winter candle sticks and light them up to create a glowing, romantic summertime feel.
The Color Red
Vera Wang is all about pushing the design envelope, and the vibrant red-hues on her Spring 2013 Bridal Collection catwalk certainly turned heads. This crimson Vera gown would look gorgeous in any season, but the red is bound to have guests reminiscing about the winter holidays.
