As all of our venues are located in New England, we have the pleasure of experiencing each season that Mother Nature gives us. The crisp and colorful Fall, the quiet and snowy Winter, the fresh and blooming Spring, and the warm and sun-kissed Summer.  Of course, there’s never a bad time to get married to your soon-to-be and though we may be a bit biased, all of our venues, Avenir in Walpole, The Villa in East Bridgewater, Saphire Estate in Sharon, and The Lakehouse in Halifax all offer incredible photo opportunities no matter what month you choose!

Winter

Our couples love getting married in December because their event is sure to stand out with the unique timing of the season. It’s the holiday season AND your wedding, what can be more special than that? Between the twinkling lights, snowy white landscape, and gorgeous fireplaces, there is nothing more intimate and romantic than a winter wedding in Massachusetts. Incorporate holiday themes, fur shawls, darker and festive colors, and holiday greens- the options are endless!

Spring

You know what they say- April showers bring May flowers! Couples tend to choose their wedding date in May due to the blooming trees and flowers. The days tend to be warm with a fresh breeze for that perfect veil shot you’ve been dreaming of. We often see pastel color palettes, stunning floral arrangements, and of course, it is super cool to have the first wedding of the season so you can enjoy a blissful honeymoon all summer!

As Oprah says, “Summer has a flavor like no other. Always fresh and simmered in sunshine.” Summertime is a long-awaited season in New England as we receive the much-needed vitamin D.  August is the perfect summer month for a wedding in New England as the weather is divine, and there is SO much you can do with décor, flowers, colors, and themes.  Anything goes in Summer- crisp whites, romantic pinks, pretty purples and gorgeous greens!  All of our venues have unique outdoor ceremony spaces with custom pergolas and exquisite landscapes to make the most of the outdoor photo opportunities.

Fall

We love fall weddings in New England, and so do our couples!  Fall is the most popular season to get married in Massachusetts and rightly so as Mother Nature is in her splendor.  Late September and through mid-October are for sure the most popular dates. The turning trees give you natural décor in shades of auburn, maroon, and gold. The air feels crisp, the colors are vibrant, and you and your guests will feel extra cozy, especially if you are enjoying the firepit at the Tent at The Villa!
