Saphire Event Group, with three boutique venues in the South Shore, is expanding and looking for an experienced, dynamic, and driven Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling multiple locations and spaces, has an in-depth knowledge of the event industry, and at least three years of direct experience.
The Saphire Event Group Sales Manager is responsible for cultivating and securing events for SEG properties following SEG standards and procedures.
The Sales Manager will maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with colleagues, guests, clients, and vendors. They will also act as both a team leader and player by providing assistance, support, and leadership to both sales and other departments. The Sales Manager is responsible for mentoring junior consultants, producers and interns.
All client inquiries must be responded to within 24 hours. Tours of the venues will be conducted during the week and every Saturday & Sunday. The Sales Manager will schedule and conduct client tours and post-tour follow-up.
They are responsible for negotiating client contracts with the parameters set forth by SEG, securing client contracts with appropriate documentation and payment plans, and will continually increase revenue through upselling.
The Sales Manager will report tour and booking statistics weekly and also prepare and report individual monthly sales for the newly-obtained business and concluded events.

The Operations & Event Manager is responsible for the successful execution of events working in conjunction with the Event Producer and our in-house Culinary team. This position also handles inventory, ordering of supplies as well as the staffing of events.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing servers and bartenders, ensuring all procedures are followed; TIPS certification; availability on nights and weekends; knowledge of bar POS systems (familiarity with Caterease is a plus); a passion for excellence and is a team player.

This position is the head of kitchen operations; participating in and overseeing food production, cooking, and plating of dishes while maintaining the quality standards set by the organization’s Executive Chef.
