Preston and I met through mutual friends, Preston was friends with my friend’s brother. The group of us spent a good amount of time together, going for midnight breakfast runs, hanging out while the guys worked on cars, eating Chinese food and watching Super Troopers. One fine day in the summer of 2008, we made plans to go to the beach together. I loved the beach, he did not but he wanted to impress. We were sunburned and sandy, but we had an amazing day. A mere 7 years later, to the day, Preston finally popped the question. And the rest is history.
We toured a few different venues, and I think I pinned like 20 others on Pinterest but they didn’t hold a candle to Saphire Estate. We toured a Vineyard and a modern hall covered in crystal chandeliers but within 10 minutes of viewing the Saphire Estate property we knew it was perfect. Not only is it classy and elegant, but the inside is warm and inviting, the bridal suit is stunning, the grounds are kept well-manicured, there is private beach access and the food is delicious! Their pricing is very competitive and fair and our coordinator was incredibly kind and easy to work with – she kept us on point throughout all the planning and on the day of. Dollar for dollar, Saphire Estate is the best value around.
Also, Saphire Estate isn’t a “wedding factory.” They host one wedding at a time. At no point in our wedding or reception did we feel rushed or like we didn’t have the full attention of the staff. Everyone worked perfectly together to make sure our day was…Well perfect! The best part of the day was after the ceremony, and the pictures, after eating our meals and having cake, we got to spend some time outside with family and friends enjoying celebratory cigars on the patio. For a few minutes, we were able to really soak in everything and reflect on how perfect the day was.
