Lauren & Matt
Saphire EstateThe iconic New England foliage was the perfect backdrop for Lauren & Matt’s October wedding at Saphire Estate. The bright leaves and glittering lights of the estate sparkled through the rain, creating some of our favorite fall wedding photographs yet!
From the Bride and Groom:
“We met on Bumble in the winter of 2019. Our first date was a Bruins game and we hit it off immediately! All I wanted was to be surprised by his proposal, so Matt came home from work on March 11th, 2022 and got down on one knee immediately when he walked in the door of our apartment. I was so surprised! It was perfect.
I loved the idea of clean, elegant, and modern. I figured the fall foliage was color enough and stuck with black, white, and a touch of magenta. We had one maid of honor and one best man, who both wore black. I bought my wedding dress at Vows in Watertown, MA, and Matt got his suit at Milton’s in Burlington, MA.
I wanted to get married in October at a venue with an old mansion/estate feel. We ultimately chose Saphire Estate because the grounds, exterior, and interior were gorgeous. It poured rain on our wedding day, but we were still able to sneak in some rainy outside pictures and Ariel Grondin Photo posed us in front of a window with gorgeous fall foliage.
Other than getting married of course, our priority was having a giant party with all our friends and family, and from the moment we set foot in Saphire Estate we knew we would be well taken care of by professionals. We had light sticks, sunglasses, and an unbelievable DJ, Matt Toto. Saphire Estate comfortably fit 180 people on their dance floor, and it was packed all night.
Working with Saphire Event Group was seamless. They had answers to all of my questions and constantly exceeded my expectations. I cannot stress enough that we were able to enjoy every second of our wedding because SEG was taking care of everything.”
If you had to give a piece of wedding planning advice to a newly engaged couple, what would it be?
“Be organized. If your schedule is as hectic as ours, get a wedding planner. Your sanity is worth the extra money!”
Lauren and Matt’s best marriage advice:
“Be each other’s best friend always, and never stop laughing.”
