Your wedding day is rightfully one of the most important and memorable occasions of your life. Whether you are planning a small, intimate wedding or larger, more formal wedding, choosing the right venue sets the tone for the entire event. Unsurprisingly, most couples willingly spend a lot of time and effort searching for the perfect, unique venue for their special day. With the sheer volume of wedding venues available, this can be incredibly overwhelming–unless one receives guidance.
Saphire Estate
Located on the eastern side of the gorgeous Massapoag Lake, Saphire Estate is undoubtedly a unique wedding venue, suited to any size wedding from an intimate gathering to two hundred sixty guests. Whether you choose the private courtyard with its gorgeous pathways, flowering plants, pergola and water fountain; the beach with its stunning lakefront views, or the grand ballroom with its warming fire, Saphire Estate is sure to please. Further comfort comes from knowing that an event held at Saphire Estate is exclusive–no other event is held at the same time. This means you will receive full attention from a fully devoted, highly professional and completely dedicated event staff.
The Villa
The Villa is located just thirty minutes south of Boston in East Bridgewater. With professionally landscaped and stunning grounds, their three distinctive ballrooms are sure to provide the perfect match for your wedding day vision. Outdoor ceremonies take place at two beautifully decorated ceremony locations, both with impressive pergolas placed before lush greenery. For a tented reception complete with a spectacular outdoor lounge and fire pit, The Villa’s gorgeous tent offers a beautiful fabric draped space with a large dance floor and elegant chandeliers. Indoor ceremonies take place in either the Madera Ballroom or the Grand Ballroom. The Madera Ballroom features stunning wooden beams and two bookend fireplaces, with enough room for up to two hundred twenty guests and a dance floor, or up to two hundred seventy guests without a dance floor. The Grand Ballroom features a breathtaking 16 foot linear fireplace and beautiful lounge that rivals even the most exclusive of venues in the city. With enough room for up to two hundred eighty guests and a dance floor, or up to three hundred forty guests without a dance floor, this ballroom is sure to impress your guests.
Of course, it’s no surprise that our own unique venues are our top favorites in the area. But we also understand that if you have your heart set on an exact wedding date and your preferred venue is already booked for that date, you may feel the need to look elsewhere. To that end, following are our top choices of other unique venue ideas in the New England area.
A Rooftop Wedding
While some people prefer the calm and quiet of the serene countryside, others thrive on the hustle and bustle of a big city. Therefore, for those who are truly devoted to city life, and love the idea of being immersed in the exciting sights and sounds, one may consider a rooftop wedding venue in Boston.
An Artistic Wedding
It is not unusual for some couples to consider the merits of a specific venue based on how they feel it will contribute to their wedding photos. For those who love the idea of having fine art for their wedding backdrop, one may consider an art museum wedding venue.
A Storybook Romance
Some people feel that books inherently communicate stability, longevity and comfort. For those who prefer the quiet, comforting ambiance of books, one may consider a public library wedding venue.
