1. Saphire Estate’s story.
In 1977, Gerald and Roberta Saphire purchased the historic lakeside Massachusetts estate and established the Saphire Manor and Inn – Already an iconic vacation destination for celebrities, vacationers, and tourists for decades of Massachusetts summers. Rumor has it that renowned American conductor Leonard Bernstein played the Estate’s ballroom in the 1930s!
The Saphire’s son Jonathan and his wife Amie took over the property and business in 2008, investing nearly one million dollars to update and transform the space into a gorgeous wedding venue saturated with quintessential New England charm. Over the years, the Saphire family company has grown into multiple uniquely charming venues, and Saphire Estate has grown with it. Keep reading to find out just how special this historic lakeside venue truly is.
2. The recipe for a perfect cocktail hour.
