‘Twas the day of SEG Gives Back 2021, when all through the South Shore, our employees were excited to give back like never before!
Saphire Event Group held our 7th annual charitable initiative in early December. With a call out to local communities, we received many nominations of families in need of a little extra holiday cheer this year. In the end, we chose five families to each receive $500 worth of gifts for this holiday season.
We set off on our adventure to a local Target where our elves were broken up into teams to divide & conquer each of these five family’s wish lists. We were a sea of green and could be found in every section of the store!
After checking out with lots of great gifts, our elves headed back to Santa’s Workshop (The Villa’s Madera Ballroom) for an afternoon of wrapping gifts for these five deserving families.
After all of the presents were wrapped, we delivered them and were humbled by the responses and emotions of each of the receiving families.
“The boys absolutely loved their gifts! We were too busy enjoying watching them open everything that we forgot to take pictures. I’m sad I don’t have pictures, but it was so nice to be present in the moment. We are very grateful for you and The Saphire Event Group! Thank you for everything!”

“Thank you all so much for the help this holiday!! We had an amazing holiday even though two of the kids were in quarantine after testing positive for Covid. Thank goodness for your elves and their help because we were housebound for the week leading up to the holiday, and I was ill from chemo the week before that. We, unfortunately, did not take many pictures on Christmas Day, but the sleds were a huge hit and we cannot wait to get some snow. Anthony loved the gardening supplies and is excited for the springtime. They have all been playing monopoly cheaters edition. Matthew just was able to get a truck so the car wash supplies came in handy. Andrew of course was so excited with the plane history book. We are so thankful for all the gifts. Your elves got the kids exactly what their individual interests are.”
