Lauren & Nick’s love story began in 2018, when the two met at a restaurant through a mutual connection — Lauren’s brother-in-law — who happened to be Nick’s best friend. 

Flash forward three years, Nick proposed to Lauren at sunset on a white sands beach in Saint Petersburg, FL. The two celebrated with a helicopter ride in the morning, followed by a relaxing beach day and a fancy steak dinner. “It was such a magical day,” Lauren recalled. 

The newly engaged soon began their search for the perfect wedding venue to say “I do.” They toured all three Saphire Event Group venues and said it was challenging picking their favorite.

Lauren & Nick decided on Saphire Estate after falling in love with the property’s sprawling grounds, gorgeous lakeview, separate cocktail lounge, and spacious ballroom. Saphire Estate’s timeless color scheme was the perfect backdrop for the earth-tone decor and blooming floral arrangements at their wedding. 

Lauren & Nick agreed that their favorite part of their wedding was their first dance to “You” by Dan & Shay. They’d taken dance lessons to perfect a choreographed routine prior. “Once the song started we both had so much fun and even got emotional because it was so special being surrounded by all of our loved ones,” said Lauren. 

“Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to Saphire Event Group,” Lauren expressed. “From the day we picked the venue to the actual wedding day, we were overwhelmed with kindness, love and support. The staff brought our wedding dreams to reality and we truly had the best day ever!”
