Sam + Kevin

Saphire Estate

Sam and Kevin met at a Halloween party in college that was hosted by a mutual friend. After that night, the two fell in love and were soon happily engaged. Like most just beginning their wedding planning process, Sam and Kevin’s first task was to secure a venue and book their date. As the second largest event venue group in Massachusetts, it’s no surprise they came to us for a tour!

Ultimately, the pair chose Saphire Estate to host their wedding. They chose this venue because they wanted a bright, modern space that could feature floral arrangements in a beautiful way. Even for a March wedding, the sunlight-filled windows of our venue added a romantic glow to all their photos.

While touring, it was the fireplace that sealed the deal for Sam and Kevin. They had been looking for a classic and romantic spot to say their “I do’s” and this choice ended up pairing perfectly with the floral arrangements created by Buds. Their choice of creamy white roses, crisp greenery, and tall silver candlesticks worked together seamlessly with the new glacier-stacked marble stone of Saphire’s fireplace and kept things in the background clean, classy, and neutral.

Out of all the memories shared that day, Sam admits her favorite part of it all was her first dance with her husband. During their reception they dined on some of our in-house dishes; Slow Roasted Prime Rib with Au Jus and Tuscan Crusted Chicken with a Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream Sauce, and then danced the night away with loved ones with the help of Music Machine RI.

“Working with Saphire was in one word—smooth,” said Sam after reminiscing about her special day. “My event coordinator made my life easier, especially in those last few months. They [SEG Staff] were always available when needed and answered all of my questions. Without the help of all the staff, our day would not have been as perfect!”
