“We met in 2010 at Stonehill College in Easton when mutual friends put together a night out in the city. We were both sophomores and became friends until we started dating going into our junior year.
We loved the feeling that Saphire Estate gave us while we were touring, and how personable the people we met were. The venue immediately seemed to have an intimate, classic elegance to it that felt warm and romantic. We loved the outdoor ceremony area and variety in photo areas from the garden, the courtyard, through the woodsy path, down by the water, the main estate, and the cocktail building – there was so much room! After touring the venue, we went back during a group tasting and had so much fun that evening. We loved all the food, apps, atmosphere and again, the team at Saphire Estate. We knew they were building a new cocktail hour space and really liked their ‘vision board’ styles. They continued to make beautiful neutral updates to the venue throughout our engagement, and we loved that.
There were so many small moments that have become our favorites. Walking into Saphire Estate for the first time and seeing all the details come together, the excitement of our first look, watching our family and friends settle into their ceremony seats from the bridal suite, and all of our guests singing along with the DJ during dinner were just some of our favorite moments. Having all of the fine details and timelines (that keep the day moving) being taken care of by our Event Producer allowed us to just be in the moment to soak in being surrounded by loved ones on a day that felt like a true representation of us and what matters to us.”
