“Our love story began in 2012 at Bridgewater State University. We met at probably one of the more unusual places…a funeral home! Andrew rented the apartment above the funeral home with one of his teammates who just happened to be dating my roommate. After briefly meeting Andrew here and there, I began talking with him any chance I could when I saw him on campus. Our relationship began over a competitive college game where the stakes were high. The winner got to kiss any person of their choosing. Andrew’s team won and he, without any hesitation, chose me. After that night we were inseparable. We both knew we had met the person we wanted to spend the rest of our lives alongside.

While looking at venues for our big day we were looking for a modern venue that was simple, affordable, and elegant on its own. We first went to the Villa to see the Grand Ballroom and the Madera Ballroom. We loved aspects of each but could not decide between the two. After giving us a tour and sitting down with us, our Sales Associate Madison suggested Saphire Estate. She said it would be a perfect fit for what we were looking for, a blend of rustic and elegant. When we arrived, Emily greeted us and the venue was love at first sight. We had that same feeling we had when we found our first home. We knew this was the place we wanted to tie the knot alongside our beloved family and friends. As we toured the venue each new detail made us fall in love with the space more. The cocktail space, bridal suite, ceremony space, and endless amount of photo opportunities made the decision that much easier for us.

Our wedding day and all meeting leading up to it were seamless. We felt like we hit the jackpot with our Event Producer Emma. She was always available to answer all of our questions and concerns and put our minds at ease throughout the planning process. It is hard to choose a favorite part of the wedding, when it was the most perfect of days in our eyes. We both agree that the outdoor ceremony was everything we had ever dreamed it would be and the reception was equally as amazing. The day went off without any hiccups at all. Since our wedding people have constantly complimented us saying it was the most well-planned and organized wedding they had ever attended. We could not have been happier with our decision to choose Saphire Estate for the most perfect day of our lives!”
