We haven’t even hit the full chill of winter yet, but images of wedding gowns planned for seasons away are swirling all around us. Since the fashion world moves so quickly, Spring 2012 collections have already made the “so last year” list. Even so, we figured you wouldn’t mind seeing some of the gorgeous gowns created specifically for the upcoming warm season. Through our searches, we realized there are so many fantastic dresses that haven’t received proper kudos. As much as we love Vera Wang and Monique Lhuillier, we wanted to shine the spotlight on five fabulous Spring 2012 wedding gowns created by lesser-known (but just as brilliant!) designers.
And so, without further ado, the five Spring 2012 wedding gowns you haven’t seen…
1. Watters & Watters
Is this real life? We want to float around a glittery dreamland in this gown forever.
2. Lela Rose
The stitching down the front of the gown is to die for, and the shoulder detailing is unexpected. A girl can’t ask for much more.
3. Matthew Williamson
First, it’s short, yet classy- love. Second, we can’t get over the shoulder sheath.
4. Claire Pettibone
Normally we would show you the front of the dress, but we’re so obsessed with this printed sash we had to forefront it (pun intended).
5. Tara LaTour
The splash of color and distressed lines literally took our breath away, proving beauty lies in the unexpected.
Is it possible to love fashion too much? We don’t think so! Take a look at our other fashion blog entries for further inspiration.
