Rami & Craig

Rami and Craig’s incredible fall wedding at Avenir in Walpole was unlike any other. Avenir’s bright and modern ballroom was the perfect setting for the vibrant array of colors and patterns that embodied this stunning September wedding. 

From the Bride and Groom:

“We met during the pandemic on the dating app, Hinge. We found that we both enjoyed hiking among other things. A year and a half after we met, Craig proposed at the top of his favorite hike which has now become mine.

Our wedding party attire was all from India. My mother made a trip with a family friend who I trusted to choose all of the colors. My first sari was rose gold and my second sari was red. The groom’s outfit was beige and burgundy. I actually didn’t have a color scheme in mind for the wedding. When people would ask me what my theme was, I would joke and say, “the theme is I’m getting married!”

When searching for our venue, our main goal initially was to find an outdoor venue. We had the wedding on the east coast while living on the west, so we trusted lots of friends and family to guide us. Avenir was recommended to us by a family friend. 

Our friends really went above and beyond for the wedding. Craig’s best friend played guitar and sang live for our first dance and my friends put together a short skit with dances that told the story of our lives and how we met.

We absolutely loved Hillary who was our wedding producer at Avenir. She was so organized and anticipated everything we needed. We were able to trust her with a very important day and it turned out great partly thanks to her!”

If Rami & Craig had to give their best piece of marriage advice it would be…

“Communication is key. Patience and forgiveness go a long way. Shared values always create a strong foundation. And lastly, laughing together keeps the relationship fun!”
