“Monty and I met at a ‘Professionals of Color’ Speed Dating event. Both of us were a little skeptical about it, but we figured that we had nothing to lose by checking it out. Although we only had six minutes to speak to each other, there was an immediate connection. Monty asked me out on our first date, and the rest, as they say, is history!

We chose The Villa because we felt extremely welcomed by the staff during our first visit, and we could see that the vision for our special day would come to life. Additionally, we loved that The Villa provided an event producer, coordinator, and bridal attendant to make sure that the wedding day is seamless. Also, the food is amazing and we knew that it would be a big hit with our family and friends. Many of them have told us that our wedding was the best one they’ve ever been to!

Our favorite parts of the wedding day were the ceremony and taking photos. We knew we were taking a chance to have an outdoor ceremony in New England, but we couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather. The Madera garden was like something out of a dream. Many guests commented that you could even hear birds chirping during our ceremony. After our beautiful ceremony and formal photos with our family and friends it was special to be swept away, just the two of us. It allowed for us to have a moment alone before we celebrated with everyone!”
