“We met our senior year in college through a mutual friend. It wasn’t some sort of fairytale, in fact, we weren’t really interested in one another at all at first! He was going off to the Army after graduation and I was going to go to Disney to work in the parks for six months. We fell in love slowly and over time. I think this is what makes our bond so strong.

We chose The Villa as our wedding venue because we fell in love with the outside space and the decor of the ballroom. We hadn’t seen any wedding venue that had such a big cocktail space, which was also a huge selling point. One of the biggest pluses is that we got to sample appetizers on our tour – the food was amazing!

My favorite part of the wedding day was doing our first look in the garden. Nick and I were so anxious to see one another that the morning had felt so long. Once we finally saw each other in the warm sun and a beautiful garden, we could relax and enjoy our day. I was also blown away by how beautiful our ceremony space looked with the flowers and drapes. I got to really soak it all in which was wonderful.”
