Alexa & Zach

The Villa | Grand Ballroom

We loved Alexa and Zach’s dusty blue and gold May wedding in The Villa’s Grand Ballroom. With gorgeous florals, sparkling chandeliers, and lots of love from their friends and family, a little rain couldn’t dull the shine of this gorgeous spring affair.

From the Bride and Groom:

“Zach and I met at Umass Amherst. He was a regular customer of mine in the omelet line! I thought I’d never see him again when I graduated before him, but we reunited at a Halloween party when I revisited UMass. We managed to make it through a two-and-a-half-year long-distance relationship before finally living together!

We were going for a dusty blue, gold, and spring color vibe. My bridesmaids are wearing dusty blue dresses they chose from Azazie. My dress is from Alexandra’s Boutique. The groomsmen’s tuxes are from Classic Tuxedo in the shade of Midnight Blue.

Zach and I were looking for a more modern ballroom, and we liked how the location was in the center of where most of our family and friends are from (between Boston and Cape Cod).

Zach and I fell in love with the fireplace featured in the ballroom. We are very thankful that we considered how content we would be with getting married in front of the fireplace in case it rained. Our pictures turned out beautiful, and it was a very romantic setting! We also took some nice pictures under the sheltered patio area.

Zach has celiac disease and the venue did an excellent job catering to his and our guests’ allergies. I used to bond with my late Italian grandfather over cannolis, and I introduced Zach to his first cannoli on one of our first dates. We cut our cake but chose to exchange cannolis instead of eating our cake together, and even had a gluten-free cannoli station for our guests!

I am so incredibly thankful for our event producer and the bridal attendants who kept me organized, made sure our vendors were on the same page, helped the entire day go smoothly, and even managed my incredibly long dress every time the bustle came undone!”

Alexa and Zach’s best marriage advice:

“Never stop “dating” your partner. Continue to put effort into making sure they feel loved, even in the small things.”
