If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that 2020 hasn’t been a banner year for anyone. Like so many others in the service industry, our business has been hit particularly hard by the effects of COVID-19. In addition to not being able to host large-scale events, we have also severely missed gathering with our amazing staff and networking with our fabulous vendor friends!
One of the big things we look forward to all year long is our annual charitable initiative, SEG Gives Back. For the last five years, we’ve put the call out for folks in the communities surrounding our South Shore venues to nominate local families that are in need of a little extra holiday cheer. Our staff has so enjoyed getting to know these families, collecting their wish lists, wrapping the gifts, and delivering them to the recipients just in time for the holidays!
While this year may have put a damper on some of our usual holiday fun (unfortunately we’ll have to refrain from our traditional day of shopping and gift wrapping as a team), we still want to do our part to help out those that really need some extra assistance during this particularly tough time. This year’s program may not look the way it has in year’s past, but we are looking forward to safely celebrating the season and giving back to some special families in the area!
