With unpredictable weather in Massachusetts, planning for an indoor wedding ceremony as a backup is always a good idea. For inspiration, we have shared several of our indoor wedding ceremonies that turned out just as beautifully as outdoor ones. Each of Saphire Event Group’s venues offers the ability to host a full indoor wedding ceremony. Couples have up to ninety minutes before the ceremony to make the final decision to move inside. If waiting out the rain has proved unsuccessful, don’t panic- our experienced team can transform your reception space or one of our unique indoor ceremony spaces in minutes!
We love outdoor ceremonies, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans! However, our team can carefully create an indoor wedding ceremony space that is beautiful, intimate, and most importantly, dry!
The Lakehouse
The Lakehouse offers an elegant and modern indoor ceremony location with incredible natural light. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the lake and create a bright and airy backdrop. The ballroom transitions smoothly from ceremony to reception through the work of our expert team.

Saphire Estate
Saphire Estate’s historic ballroom fireplace has seen hundreds of beautiful indoor wedding ceremonies over the years. This elegant space allows for extensive decor and customization opportunities for an indoor wedding ceremony in any season!
The beauty of our venues is the flexibility! Saphire Estate couples also have the option to orient their indoor wedding ceremony facing the ballroom windows, taking advantage of the gorgeous natural light pouring in and keeping the rain out!

The Tent at The Villa
The Tent converts into an elegant, bright, and inviting indoor ceremony space in no time! The finished tent floor and stone pathways are ideal for rainy weddings, avoiding any contact with mud so couples and guests can dance the night away worry-free!
The Villa’s Tent can give an indoor wedding ceremony the look and feel of an outdoor one, without getting wet! Plus, the open curtains allow photographers to capture the shimmering raindrops behind your ceremony for the dreamiest photos.

The Villa’s Grand Ballroom

The Villa’s Madera Ballroom
The Madera Ballroom’s classic elegance and custom fireplace create a beautiful backdrop for an indoor ceremony! The high ceilings, chandeliers, and dark wood accents photograph beautifully, and the ballroom is cozy and romantic no matter the guest count!

They let us wait until the last second to decide if we still wanted to have the wedding outside and even set up a tent for the musicians just in case. We ultimately ended up having the ceremony indoors, but they made it look just as stunning as outside!
