Vanessa & Douglas

Vanessa & Doug are high school sweethearts and met back in 2004. In October of 2020, Doug took Vanessa to Mare Rooftop in Providence for her birthday and popped the big question! “We were married just after our 17 year anniversary,” Vanessa explained. 

“The minute I walked into Avenir I fell in love and had to have my special day there,” said Vanessa. From her glittering lace gown to his stylish gold suit jacket, Avenir was a fantastic backdrop for the many glamorous details at their wedding.  “The venue itself was mouth droppingly gorgeous and the FOOD! Everyone still talks about how amazing the food was!” 

Their favorite part of their big day was how much love and support they had. “There was not ONE single thing that went wrong that day, ” Vanessa remarked. “I feel truly honored to be able to say that. Our event producer Sydney made sure everything ran the way it should have and we are forever grateful to her. Sydney truly delivered and is amazing at what she does.
