Meredith & Eric
Saphire Estate“Eric & I met online. No meet cute, but our first date was J.P. Licks and a walk around Newton Center. Eric proposed in the same park, and we served J.P. Licks at our wedding 🙂 The line was onto the dance floor, and everyone seemed to love it!
We got engaged in late September and knew we wanted a Fall 2017 wedding, so we started looking at venues quickly. My best friend got married at The Villa, so I was familiar with them, and we booked an appointment. We liked The Villa a lot, but once we pulled up to Saphire, we were sold. We both loved the aesthetic of it, the food we tasted was delicious, and I loved that everything was right there! After having searched for a house for six months and found nothing, being able to say yes to the second venue we looked at was an amazing feeling. Beyond loving the look of the venue, I loved the organization of it. I love having a plan, and knowing that Saphire has the day perfectly mapped out, let me relax and enjoy the day – and know nothing would go wrong.
The first look was the perfect way to start our day. Having a moment just between us, ahead of the madness and having it in the woods (which were so peaceful) was so special to both of us. The ceremony was perfect – the garden is so beautiful, and the fountain had been partially frozen, which was gorgeous. We had friends of ours read blessings for us during the ceremony and at the end Eric broke the glass – which we now have in our home!
The reception was flawless – Elizabeth, our coordinator, was by our side the whole day along with the bridal attendant and event manager and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We were able to greet all our guests, enjoy the fabulous toasts, and just truly enjoy our day. All of our guests commented that they had a fabulous time (a few people noted we’re the new gold standard) and we are still getting compliments on how good the food was!”
