“Steve and I met in middle school health class! One night, I messaged him on AIM and we instantly became best friends, but it wasn’t until high school that we started dating. Throughout college, Steve would visit me in New Hampshire on the weekends and I would come back to Massachusetts. We were determined to make long distance work! Fast forward twelve years later, we’re now married, own our home in the town we grew up in, and have two little fur babies!

We were searching all around Massachusetts and Rhode Island for the perfect wedding venue. I always knew I wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and reception in the fall. When we toured the Tent at The Villa, we knew immediately that this was the venue we wanted to get married at. Inside the Tent was spacious and elegant. A fire pit and comfortable seating was included in the area, which was so relaxing for guests to go outside and take a break from dancing. The morning of our wedding was downpouring, but it luckily let up by the time we arrived at The Villa for our first look. Having a wedding outside can be risky with weather, but the staff at The Villa was able to dry everything off in time for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony area is surrounded by beautiful greens and flowers and provides a nice long aisle for a dramatic entrance. Since it’s overlooking a golf course, the landscaping is full of beautiful greenery and colorful trees, especially in October!

Our wedding was a dream come true. Marrying my husband was of course the best part of the day! Being surrounded by our closest family and friends to celebrate our love was so special. My vendors were all amazing and DJ Chuck kept the party going all night. Elizabeth nailed every little detail perfectly and I had my complete trust in her the whole day. The bridal attendant was also so incredible. She made sure I always had food, a drink in my hand and that my dress was perfect in every photo. Our family and friends still talk about how delicious the food was – I’d recommend the buffalo chicken wontons and late night French fry bar! Our wedding at The Villa was the most perfect day we’ll never forget. Thank you to the staff at SEG for making our special day run flawlessly!”
