“A mutual friend introduced us to each other in a bar in Boston in 2015, and the rest is history! Colton and I got engaged in Sicily, Italy in 2018 on a trip to visit my grandparents and see their hometown/where my mom was born. My grandparents made reservations for us at a beautiful restaurant on the water. Colton proposed after dinner, and had the whole restaurant staff in on it! We celebrated afterward on the rooftop with my grandparents. We planned for a two-year engagement, but once COVID hit we knew we had to postpone our plan to ensure we still got to have our day in 2021.

Colton and I chose Avenir because as soon as we pulled up, we fell in love with the Mediterranean feel outside. We knew it had to be even more beautiful inside, and it certainly was. I immediately imagined our first dance under the beautiful chandeliers. We loved how bright it was throughout the whole venue. Everything felt right, and we booked our date, August 7^th, right then and there.

My favorite part of our wedding day was the reception, and getting to celebrate and dance with all of our family and friends. After the wedding, we had people reaching out to us raving about the wedding, food, drinks, and Saphire Event Group staff. I will forever recommend SEG to any newly engaged couple!

We had asked to have our private first look and vows outside, prior to our off-site ceremony, with our family and bridal party watching above from the cocktail space. It was so awesome to know they could see us and cheer us on, and also still have our private moment where they couldn’t hear our personal vows! We truly would not have been able to have that moment at all without that approval due to scheduling, and we are forever grateful!

Saphire Event Group has top-notch service! I loved working with Sydney, as she was super helpful and never made me feel like I was annoying her with my one million questions. The Wedding Guide Book that SEG gave us outlined everything I needed to know and helped me throughout my planning process. I wish we could relive our day all over again!”
