It’s hard to ignore that sports season is in full swing. Footballs are soaring, pucks are flying, and basketballs are bouncing almost every night of the week. For many, this time of year translates into late nights, endless snacking, quality time with friends, and bottom less drinks. Of course, here at Saphire, we love sports too. Come on, we’re from Massachusetts! But planning a wedding during this season can prove to be tough with all the distractions. Here are a few tips to help you stay on track while still enjoying the games.
*Time out! Make commercial time decision time. Need to decide on a color palette? Collaborate with your fiancé while the ads roll, and when they end it’s back to “GAME ON!”
*Ask for your cake tasting platter TO GO. Not only will it be the classiest dish on your table, it will taste even sweeter with victory.
*Have a game day outing double as a Jack and Jill Shower! Incorporate unique favors, like mini-basketball chocolates.
*Need help with centerpieces, favors, etc.? Promise anyone who comes to help you free food, beer, and a plasma screen to watch the game on. You’ll have a line at your front door.
