Making it 2 the Aisle: Part 1

Learn How One Couple Planned Their Entire Wedding in Just Two Months!

Meet Sarah and Adam. For three years the two had heard they would be perfect for each other, but there was one catch- they had never even met.

With Adam serving in the Army and deploying to Iraq and Sarah living on the other side of the world, the set up wasn’t exactly realistic.  But after three years of hearing about each other, all it took was two group dates, with their matchmaker as the third wheel, for them to realize she had been right all along. After meeting twice as a group, Adam called Sarah to set up a one-on-one date, and the rest, as they say, was history.

Fast forward three years and eight months…

With a custom designed engagement ring and a wedding date booked with Saphire Event Group, all Sarah needed was….a proposal. No traditional order needed for this couple, as the engagement was, according to Sarah, “kind of inevitable”. With such commitment already in place, no rings in champagne or seaside fireworks were necessary. A relaxed, personal proposal was just what Sarah wanted and just what she received. Adam officially proposed to Sarah at their home on August 10, 2010, first thing on a Tuesday morning.

Though the pressure of Adam’s full-time law school workload and Sarah’s busy work life delayed the couple’s wedding plans for so long, the couple ultimately decided to push that stress aside go for it.  Both loved the idea of a fall wedding and with the future being impossible to predict next fall, Adam told Sarah he thought this October would be a perfect time to pull off the feat. They chose 10-8-10 as their wedding date. Follow the story of this crazy in love couple as we look back on their crazy couple of months!
